![]() ![]() "Warriors of the North" is a potentially great game, especially with the "Ice and Fire" quests (some of which, such as the Masks quest) are superb. PLEASE, 1C Company and developers, SORT THESE PROBLEMS OUT! You get his answer, and he SAYS he will give you the Amelie treaty: but nothing appears in the inventory, and though you may ask him often as you like YOU CANNOT GET IT to finish the quest. Worst, the "New Home for Lizardmen" quest gets stuck when you ask Rezo for advice about the swamp. I picked up a stray Owl on Merlassar before I was given it, and the game failed to recognise the fact. The quests do not update verbally in the "Quests" list.ģ. You HAVE to do this before they attempt to use their lances. Worse, there are significant bugs with "Ice and Fire" which bring the game to a halt if you are not careful, and pretty lucky or skilful.ġ. Some of the original "Warriors of the North" ones have still not been sorted out (Knut's "flag" quest for example cannot be finished if you have already killed off the castle's orc troops, and it is stupid not to make it available until after the "princess costume" quests).Īnd never, NEVER ask Ratmir if you can look at what he has to sell. However, playing - and finishing - the game is far too much a matter of skirting around the numerous bugs. Once over to Greenwort I stuck with the human troops - Archmage, Pyromage, Paladin, Bowmen and Inquisitors - and with that lot plus the Blizzard spell most fights were satisfyingly concluded in a round or two. I have finished "Ice and Fire" tonight, as a Skald, and have thoroughly enjoyed the immense power it is possible to build up in the expansion. ![]()
